My name is KayJay, a rapper from Detroit who puts real life into every verse. I started out writing and freestyling at a young age, but the first time I went to the studio I knew this was more than just a hobby. That moment made me realize, “yeah, I’m really doing this for real.” Since then, I’ve been locked in, pushing my craft and making sure every performance feels like a piece of my story.

What makes my music different is the balance I bring. Detroit shaped my grit and hunger, but my versatility lets me switch lanes from hard-hitting, raw flows to smooth, melodic vibes.
