That’s why half of Nexodus events are hosted on campus—giving young people access to secure, alcohol-free, and smoke-free spaces where they can perform, connect, and showcase their talents. At Wayne State, Nexodus is dedicated to creating experiences that celebrate creativity, community, and culture. Our events are designed to give students and Detroit youth meaningful opportunities to perform, connect, and grow in a safe and supportive space. From workshops to showcases, every initiative is built to highlight the diverse talents and voices of the next generation. 

Nexodus Club 

(Launching 2026)

In 2026, Nexodus will launch an official student organization at Wayne State University—created exclusively for Wayne State students. This club will take a unique “chapter” or “seasonal” approach, with each cycle focusing on a different aspect of student life and creative culture.

One season may partner with the skateboarding community, another may bring energy to the student section at football games, while another could highlight Detroit’s thriving music scene. By rotating themes every few months, the club ensures that students can explore diverse passions, connect across interests, and keep things fresh and exciting year-round.

This initiative is designed to represent all sides of Detroit’s creative culture, while building a supportive, ever-evolving community on campus.
