What To Expect

NextUp 313 Hub is all about uplifting Gen Z by creating safe, creative spaces for youth to gather, connect, and be inspired. We’re kicking off our very first Hub with a Halloween party full of music, energy, and community vibes—set right inside the cozy atmosphere of our local bookstore.

This launch event features five special musical guests from Nexodus, each bringing their unique voice and message to the stage:

• KueenSosa - the artistic rebirth of Karis—a visionary Detroit creative, prophetess, and powerhouse blending soul, faith, and revolution to inspire a new generation through music, storytelling, and cultural transformation.

• Brothers of Faith – two brothers using rap and hip-hop to uplift and inspire with messages rooted in God and positivity.

• Rated Dmarr – blending the raw Detroit sound with his own story as a student and artist, bringing authenticity and high-energy vibes to the crowd.

• Jaidé - who blends R&B, rap, and soul into raw, honest storytelling that turns her growth and roots into powerful musical experiences. 

• Baylee Jai - a 19-year-old Detroit R&B/Soul singer and actress whose powerful, motivational sound and soulful performances reflect a journey of artistry, spirit, and self-expression 

Alongside live performances, guests can expect a Halloween atmosphere with fall-themed décor, spooky bookstore vibes, and a few fun surprises throughout the night. Costumes are encouraged, and you never know—there just might be a jump-scare or two hiding in the aisles!

At its heart, NextUp 313 Hub is more than just a party—it’s a movement. We’re building a platform for young people to express themselves, discover new talent, and feel supported by their community. This Halloween Jam is only the beginning.
